Sailing to London - fetching Thames barge Ardwina to her new home in Kent

Having taken ownership of the Thames sailing barge Ardwina in February 2024, T&W needed to bring her to her new home at Lower Halstow, Kent. Setting off in April, we took our own barge, Edith May to London on the first sail of the year and met Ardwina in the heart of London, but the return journey did not go exactly to plan! T&W is a small, family run organisation that seeks to create a sustainable future for East Coast heritage craft.
