Norfolk Southern train meet at CP 300 Holland Ohio

At CP 300 in Holland-Crissey Ohio, there was a train meet where 2 of the bungalows are taken out of service in Crissey ohio. 1 conrail-era safetran bungalow was the detector at milepost CD 300.0 when it was first equipped a Servo 9000 conrail first and then switched it to norfolk southern. After taking the Servo 9000 software out of service around 2007, it equipped an STC Smartscan NG until retirement of 2019. In 2019, the STC Smartscan NG² was in service after the old Smartscan NG was retired. This detector milepost CD 300.0 was retirement in April 2024 and the bungalow was overlaid until spring 2026. At CP 300 the test site was overlaid for a very long time and taken out of service in summer 2026. All this is left is some wheel defect sight boards and the bungalow still stands there.
