We have suffered damage from the severe weather. Just when we thought we had weathered the worst, we got the full force of it. We are sailing to Lake Tjeukemeer to find a nice spot for the weekend. The weather is beautiful and warm. And it would be nice to find a place where we can swim. Eventually, we succeed at the Marchjepôle on Lake Tjeukemeer. We enjoy ourselves in and on the water, but then, in the evening.... The severe weather breaks out. We sold this boat in 2020 and bought our current boat. Our current boat is a Romanza cruiser, built in 1978 at the "van der Torre" shipyard in Ammerstol. The Sequana is powered by a strong Ford Lehman 6-cylinder engine with a power output of 120 hp. Sequana was the river goddess of the French river Seine, which also flows through Paris. Sequana was said to bring healing. Partly for this reason, we thought this was a fitting name for our boat. Because when we step onto our boat on the weekend (or during a holiday) after a long week of work, we immediately feel better.
