In this vlog, discover Seoul, South Korea with me! I'll show you the lively Myeong-dong neighborhood. We'll also explore the charming alleyways of the Ikseon-dong neighborhood. We'll also take the subway. MYEONG-DONG DISTRICT (JUNG-GU DISTRICT): There are many skyscrapers throughout the city, especially in the area between Myeongdong and Euljiro 1-gil subway stations. There are tons of bustling streets lined with shops and restaurants; it's teeming with people. It's kind of the heart of the city. Here are some street names: Myeongdong 9-gil Myeongdong 8na-gil Myeongdong 8ga-gil Myeongdong 4-gil Myeongdong 10-gil There's a street food market on Myeongdong Street. 8-gil When you're near Myeongdong subway station, I recommend Toegye-ro 20-gil. It's a beautiful, artistic street with tons of murals, figurines everywhere, and, most importantly, a superb view of Namsan Seoul Tower (262 meters). Just on the outskirts of this area, across the Cheonggyecheon Stream, near Jonggak subway station, is another cluster of very lively shopping streets, such as Samil-daero 19-gil, which has a red pavement with colorful circular patterns, Samil-daero 17-gil (which I call a parallel street with spirals), and Gwancheol-dong. Of course, all the streets mentioned above are also worth visiting at night; the display of illuminated signs is spectacular. IKSEON-DONG DISTRICT: This district is rather quiet with a few Tourists It's a maze of small alleyways with a few shops and restaurants. Donhwamun-ro 11ga-gil (which I call Electric Wire Street) is a must-see.
