【南へ600km】 思いがけない出会いが、旅を変えた。｜札幌⇄広島 下道6000km〈第2話〉

Upon retirement, a couple in their 60s embarked on a road trip on the countryside with no set return date. They traveled from Sapporo to Hiroshima to visit a benefactor. Before they knew it, they had covered 6,000km. This time, they traveled approximately 600km south from Zao, Yamagata. Meeting someone they'd connected with on social media in person has slightly changed the way they enjoy traveling. Along the way, they sampled local delicacies like Utsunomiya gyoza, Fujinomiya yakisoba, and himono shokudo, and despite encountering some minor hiccups, they continued slowly south. This was not a trip touring tourist spots. There were no spectacular views to speak of. All they saw was time spent traveling and conversation between the couple.
