1ZZ-FE Rebuild Part 5 - Timing Chain & Tensioner, Water Pump, Front Main Seal Installation

I get lots of DM’s asking about the timing chain and tensioner and hopefully Episode 5 will address these questions. Also, Episode 5 includes the oil control valve, camshaft sprockets, water pump, front main seal, and alternator installation. Additionally, I noted a MISTAKE in the video when I installed the drive belt idler. I mistakenly installed it in the lower hole on the timing chain cover. This will make it impossible to install the serpentine belt. Thus, pls make sure you install the drive belt idler in the UPPER hole of the timing chain cover. Also, put the nut next to the idler just in case you have to take the idler off while the engine is still in the vehicle. Enjoy the video. Pls subscribe and like this video and of course, I'd love to hear your feedback, questions, and suggestions for future content. Also, HMU if you need race car parts... some are listed on my website www.shoprelentlessracing.com and if you need race car parts not listed, then pls DM me. #stayrelentless and I'll see you at the track -AJ @relentlessracing Donate to the cause: PayPal: [email protected] Venmo: @Alan-Jaquias Episode 4:    • 1ZZ-FE Rebuild Part 4 - Oil Pump, Cylinder...   0:00 Episode 4 0:18 Introduction 0:52 Oil Control Valve 1:15 Oil Control Valve Filter 1:51 Camshaft Sprockets 2:03 Crankshaft Set Key 2:06 Chain Vibration Damper 2:16 Timing Chain 2:44 Chain Tensioner Slipper 2:59 Crank Angle Sensor Plate 3:05 Studs 3:23 Timing Chain Cover 4:22 Water Pump 4:38 Right Hand Engine Mounting Bracket 4:50 Drive Belt Tensioner 4:53 Front Main Seal 5:01 Timing Chain Tensioner 5:07 Drive Belt Idler 5:41 Alternator 5:50 Episode 6
