Camino de Santiago 2026. Camino de la Lana. Etapa 13. San Esteban de Gormaz-Quintanarraya.

Another long stage of 31 km through cereal fields and holm oak forests. The hotel was very good, including breakfast for €35, and they leave breakfast ready in case you leave very early, as was the case. Today we passed through four villages before reaching Quintanarraya. None of them have any services whatsoever. You have to carry provisions until the end. At the hostel in Quintanarraya, there is coffee or hot chocolate for breakfast (that's all). There are drinks and soft drinks in the fridge (with a price list). The path combines sections of asphalt with sections of dirt. I took a detour marked with a yellow arrow to avoid asphalt. It's not a difficult stage due to the terrain. The only complication, as we've already experienced on other stages, is the lack of basic services for pilgrims in most of the villages. This forces you to carry extra weight of food and drink (it's essential to have an insulated water bottle).
