Short Crew, Big Job… This Went Surprisingly Smooth

Ever have one of those days where you’re short a couple guys… but the job still has to get done? With Spencer and Felipe out, it was just Aaron, Zach, and me taking on a massive maple removal. What could’ve been a long, stressful day actually turned into one of the smoothest jobs we’ve had in a while. Running the Merlo equipped with the Woodcracker made a huge difference, and the whole operation just flowed. We even kept morale high with some seriously good beef brisket for lunch. In this video, I also show a new Bluetooth load cell from Crosby that I picked up recently for the knuckle boom crane—really excited to start putting it to work on future jobs. After the job, I switched gears and took Rocky out for a fun trip hitting a couple indoor skateparks in Illinois and Delavan, Wisconsin. From running heavy equipment to riding ramps—it turned into a pretty awesome day all around.
