The Land Clearing Crew Called Us for This One Tree
On this job near Middleton, Wisconsin, we were called in to remove one last massive white oak tree on an active construction site. Most of the trees had already been cleared, but this one was a different story — it was hanging directly over a neighboring house, making it too risky for standard land-clearing equipment. The land clearing company knew this tree required a specialized approach, so they had the job superintendent give us a call. With our Grove 4100 crane, we were able to safely dismantle the tree from 112 feet away, using full counterweight to maintain stability at the extended reach. This removal went exactly how you want a crane job to go — smooth, controlled, and efficient. Great communication, solid planning, and an experienced crew made all the difference. We completed the entire removal before dark with zero issues.
