Though Martinee started work as a rock musician, his claim to fame was developing the Latin Freestyle sound that would dominate the mid-to-late 80s in various parts of the United States. Laurie Miller, Sandra "Sandee" Casañas, and Alejandra "Ale" Lorenzo brought his concept to life with flashy outfits, fierce choreo, and strong tracks like "Point Of No Return" that skyrocketed to the top of the Dance charts.
