Baofeng UV-28 Plus GPS/Bluetooth App Programmable Two Way Radio Review

The Baofeng UV-28 Plus is yet another budget radio in the long running series. Baofengradio.com sent me this one through so I could demonstrate the GPS functionality between similar "Plus" series radios such as the recently reviewed UV-25. As a bonus this radio can also be programmed using Bluetooth and apps are available for iOS and Android so you don't need a Windows computer for the CPS! Going forward Baofeng tell me all the new Plus radios should be able to exchange GPS position information between them. This is a big improvement over the older models. This radio offers up to 10w power output. Coverage is 136-174 MHz, 220-260 MHz, 400-520 MHz. Also has FM Broadcast and AM Airband Reception. The radio uses the same CPS as the UV-25 Plus and many other Plus radios.
