In the archives of Kazerne Dossin
Every day, the research centre of Kazerne Dossin digitizes original documents, photographs and records on the Holocaust in Belgium and Northern France and stores them in an image bank. The image bank comprises more than 1.5 million documents and is expanding every day. In addition to donations from individuals and organizations we digitize collections of other Belgian museums and archives. The research team of Kazerne Dossin conducts targeted research, shares expertise in networks and with third parties, holds lectures and issues publications. Their goal is to gain and give further insight into the past and put a face to the deported Jews and Roma.
