ITY MANYARA WOMEN DONATE CONCRETE TO SUPPORT THE CONSTRUCTION OF A MADRASA IN MANAGHA The Jipende, Jitunze, Jiamini (ITY) women's group - Itanbue Thamani Yako in Manyara region has carried out an act of compassion by donating 10 bags of cement to help complete the construction of a madrasa in Managha Village, Babati District, Manyara Region. The donation was made after identifying various challenges facing the religious education institution, including the lack of a good place to pray (mosque), toilets, student dormitories, the incompleteness of the existing classroom as well as the challenge of access to water and the lack of a water storage tank. Speaking at the time of handing over the donation, ITY Manyara Region Chairperson, Leah Laizer said the group will continue to commit to helping groups in need using their own strength through women's donations. She said the group's goal is to touch the lives of the community by helping areas with various challenges and encouraging solidarity in solving the challenges facing the people. "We will continue to collaborate with the community and provide assistance where we can, by volunteering as women to help those in need," said Leah Laizer. For her part, the leadership of the madrasa has expressed gratitude to the ITY group for the support, explaining that it will support the steps to complete the construction and improve the learning environment for the students of the madrasa. The madrasa located in Managha Street in Babati district still needs the cooperation of various stakeholders to complete the necessary infrastructure for the students and believers who use the institution.
