I've broken the temperature record from our last trip by a wide margin. It's never been this cold around our campervan while winter camping. I'm seriously considering turning off the engine overnight so the van will start again in the morning. The journey continues along the E45 Inlandsvägen into the freezing cold of northern Sweden, all the way to Kiruna. The polar night reveals almost incomprehensible colors in the sky. And I have an animal encounter that eluded me on my first trip. With the VW California to the Norwegian Arctic, in the middle of winter and during the polar night. I'm setting off, in temperatures well below -30°C, through wintry Sweden, icy Finland, all the way to the far north. In search of the Norway I couldn't see on my first trip. What else is in store?
