Durch Schweden zum Polarkreis - über den Inlandsvägen

Our first longer trip with our new campervan takes us to northern Europe. To get there, we have to cross Germany and Denmark to reach Sweden via the Belt and Öresund bridges. Our goal isn't to take the fastest route – the E4 along the Baltic Sea – but rather the one we find most interesting. And that's the Inlandsvägen, which runs roughly through the center of Sweden. We won't be sticking rigidly to this road either, but will be taking detours, both large and small, off the E45. We already drove the Vildmarksvägen (a roughly 360-kilometer loop) from the north on our last trip to Sweden. Therefore, this time we're driving it clockwise, starting from Strömsund. We're not sticking rigidly to this road, but rather taking smaller and larger detours off the E45.
