A national park in the state of Madhya Pradesh, central India. One night, while Ghaffar—a wildlife conservation officer—was walking through the park, he suddenly realized a wild leopard cub was following him. Judging by how accustomed it was to humans, the cub may well have been raised in captivity. Unable to simply leave it to fend for itself, he decided to take it into protective care. After three months at the facility, the time finally came to return the cub to the wild. The cage was opened, and the leopard cub stepped out. However, the very next day, the cub returned to the facility. Why did this happen? This video explores the challenges involved in rescuing and rehabilitating wild animals.
