“Relocated to Nigeria 🇳🇬: The Small Things That Make a House Feel Like Home”
Relocating to Nigeria is not always about the big moves — sometimes, it’s the small things that truly make a house feel like home. In this video, I’m sharing a real, simple day in our relocation journey. We refreshed our bedroom walls with a touch-up paint, deep-cleaned the bed and chairs, and finally laid down our new rug. It’s amazing how small changes can completely transform a space. I also shared a few new additions to our home — including a wall clock I got from eBay and where we placed it in our hallway. And of course… I tried making rustic bread using all-purpose flour (because finding bread flour here isn’t always straightforward 😅). Let’s just say — it was an experience! This is the reality of settling into Nigeria — adjusting, improvising, and slowly creating comfort. If you’re relocating, thinking about moving back, or just curious about real life in Nigeria, this series is for you.
