Hemmed In Hollow | June 14, 2026

Yesterday I drove out to the Buffalo National River and did the 3 mile hike to Hemmed In Hollow Falls. It had rained heavily the night before so I knew there was going to be a good flow....and there was! I did see a few other people while I was there but near as many as I thought I would. Even though the temperature was only 70 degrees, the humidity was brutal. The climb out was tougher than I was expecting and I think the humidity/sweating had a lot to do with that. I the cooler months it seemed easier. Enjoy the waterfall. Note- I shot this with my GoPro MAX2 and Mission 1 cameras. I was filming in the GP-Log2 color profile. Still learning the color grading for this profile. The lighting on this hike was overcast with a lot of dark, shaded areas. Plus the water had a great deal of reflectivity since the sun was straight overhead that day.
