Although I really wanted to try a street-side barber and was looking forward to having special interactions and learning from them, the language barrier was just too great. Even the bodyguard didn’t speak English, so I had no choice but to go along with the flow. But honestly, what left the deepest impression that day was my feelings about leaving India. It’s hard to describe—a mix of emotions, really. I think I’ll have the chance to return to India someday.
