The weather forecast across South Africa today is as follows: A weak cold front is currently sliding south across the country, bringing some light rain and cooler temperatures to the southern Cape. Isolated storms are expected to develop later in parts of the Karoo. Meanwhile, the northeastern regions will remain dry, with warm to hot conditions persisting throughout the area. Be advised that extreme high fire danger conditions are in effect for the western parts of the Free State, the eastern parts of the Northern Cape, and the extreme northwestern areas of the Eastern Cape.
