Ribblehead Viaduct Yorkshire is the most famous and photographed structure in the Yorkshire

The Ribblehead Viaduct is the most famous and photographed structure in the Yorkshire Dales National Park. Located on Batty Moss along the iconic Settle-Carlisle Railway, this 19th-century engineering marvel features 24 soaring stone arches, standing 32 m (104 feet) tall and stretching 400 m (440 yards) across the rugged moorland --- Built by over a thousand workers (known as "navvies") between 1869 and 1874, the structure required 1.5 million bricks and over 100,000 cubic meters of stone. The harsh, windswept conditions and difficult terrain made it a massive undertaking, tragically costing the lives of over 100 men. The nearby shanty towns where the workers and their families lived are now protected as scheduled monuments, and memorials can be found in near #Ribblehead Viaduct #yorkshire #vanlifeuk #vanlife Video Equipment:# #DJI Osmo Action 4 Camera #DJI osmo pocket 2 Links https://www.instagram.com instagram.com/campervanadventuresvw https://buymeacoffee.com buymeacoffee.com/campervanadventuresvw https://www.youtube.com    / @campervanadventures1
