Rentner zahlen jetzt nur 52.000 € für dieses 2 ZKB Eigenheim! Das Uranos von Tiny Wonderhouse.
The Karlsruhe trade fair on June 28th provided the perfect stage for a premiere that caused quite a stir in the tiny house scene: the presentation of the Uranos model by manufacturer Tiny Wonderhouse. Visitor interest was enormous, not least due to owner Kataline's exclusive sales strategy. At the close of the fair, the Uranos was offered at a special price of €52,000 – a saving of a substantial €20,000 compared to the regular price of €72,000. This attractive price point makes the model a highly appealing option for families seeking a fully-fledged home without sacrificing mobility or ecological standards. As a specialist journalist for sustainable building, I was particularly impressed by the combination of thoughtful spatial planning and high-quality craftsmanship, which makes the Uranos far more than just an ordinary mobile home. A crucial aspect for potential buyers is the mobility concept, which is based on precise technical planning. With a total length of 7.8 meters and a weight of exactly 3.5 tons, the Uranos fully utilizes the legal limits for transport on German roads. Of particular note is its legal classification as cargo on a trailer. This status offers significant advantages in terms of building regulations and registration compared to a permanently installed caravan, as the house is technically considered transported goods. The aerodynamic shape of the house, which slopes sharply towards the front, was specifically designed for highway transport to reduce air resistance. Towed by a powerful vehicle such as an Iveco, the tiny house can travel at speeds of approximately 70 to 80 kilometers per hour. However, caution is advised: the overall height is just under the critical four-meter mark, making precise route planning, taking bridge heights into account, essential. The exterior is characterized by a striking green color scheme and an innovative terrace design. A technical highlight is the included folding veranda. It can be assembled within an hour using a mechanical Al-Ko winch or folded completely against the house for transport. This outdoor space is complemented by a high-quality awning from Fiamma, effectively extending the living area outdoors. It's important for prospective buyers to know that the exterior steps shown in the trade fair video were only intended as temporary access for visitors; the complete folding terrace system is included in the delivery. Upon entering the interior, a living area of 27.5 square meters is revealed. The Tiny Wonderhouse boasts impressive efficiency, with 87 percent of the total area available as usable space. The house accommodates up to four adults in two separate sleeping areas. A spacious loft, accessible via a staircase with integrated storage, serves as the main sleeping area, while a multifunctional sofa on the ground floor provides an additional bed. The choice of materials underscores the high standards of sustainability and aesthetics: The floor is made of genuine oak, while the walls are clad in light-colored poplar wood, creating a welcoming, Scandinavian-inspired atmosphere. For insulation, the Uranos uses fiberglass, while smaller models from the manufacturer offer sheep's wool as an optional, eco-friendly alternative. Details such as a folding table and a small, cleverly integrated washing machine demonstrate that even in the smallest of spaces, no compromises in comfort are necessary. The Uranos' energy concept is designed for complete self-sufficiency. Heating is provided by electric underfloor heating, supplemented by an additional convector to quickly heat the interior, even in winter. Power is supplied by six solar panels, which can be conveniently stored in the towing vehicle during transport. A powerful inverter and two batteries enable approximately five to six hours of self-sufficient operation at full heating load; without heating, this period is significantly extended. Cooking is done traditionally with gas, while an integrated fresh water tank and pump ensure a reliable water supply. Another highlight for environmentally conscious users is the sanitary facilities: the installed Separett dry composting toilet is considered a market leader. A sophisticated ventilation system immediately removes odors and dries the solids, resulting in high-quality compost for the garden.
