Flying my Paramotor to a Deserted Island in Mexico to go Fishing!

It's not fly fishing, it’s “Sky Fishing” Baja California Sur is one of the best sport fishing locations in the world. However, due to limited access to deep water and lots of competition, beach fishing is very challenging and the majority of fish are caught from boats. I decided to increase my odds by ziptying my 6’ 6” rod to my paramotor and flying to a deserted island 6 miles offshore. Once there, I flew to a beach where I could see many big fish chasing huge shoals of sardines close to shore. It was immediately clear that the fishing on this virgin beach was much better than anywhere else I’ve fished in Baja. In no time, I caught this 20 lb mahi-mahi on an artificial topwater lure close to the beach. I flew the 4 ft long, awkwardly shaped fish back to my van with its head in my Scout adventure side bag and it’s tail zip tied to my frame and feasted on it for the rest of the week.
