Birding in Singapore. Pasir Ris Park- Spotted Wood Owl, Mangrove viper. Jun 2023.

While Pasir Ris Park has lost its charm compared to 2 years ago due to redevelopment, I still visit this place occasionally. We can walk right into the mangrove to explore via the boardwalk from Car Park B or C. The appearance of the Spotted Wood Owl made me visit the park more often recently. Gone are the uncommon species but I still get to spot quite a few common species. Perhaps, it is better to enjoy what it got now before more changes take place. Sometimes it is better to lower our expectations while enjoying wildlife. Sharing my 4 days’ walk and what I spotted here. Enjoy!!!
