This was the first time towing the Caymas down, and it didn't disappoint. The mission? Hunt big cabrilla, chase boiling yellowtail, and put our gear to the test in some of the most incredible waters Baja has to offer. The first two days Randy Spizer and Alex Manibusan linked up with Uncle Craig, covering structure, exploring new water, and getting dialed in on the bite. By day three, we joined forces with Justin Reynolds, Lane Kilian, Skylar Khachadorian, and Kareem to finish out the trip—and the fishing only got better from there. One thing became crystal clear early on: PINK was the color of the trip. If it was pink, it got bit. The 7 inch Pickle Kick and our 25L Jig absolutely got chewed, producing everything from hard-charging yellowtail to backflipping cabrilla that put on a show every time they hit the surface. We found schools of yellowtail crashing bait, boiling all around the boat, and aggressive cabrilla stacked on structure ready to ambush anything that came through. Every day brought explosive bites, screaming drags, and the kind of fishing that keeps you planning the next trip before the current one is over.
