Unmasking HIV: A Paediatric Case Study (RSV vs. Pneumonia) with Professor Fatima Mir of AKU

In this paediatric case study with Professor Fatima Mir of Aga Khan University's Department of Paediatrics and Child Health and Infectious Disease section, we examine a 9-month-old infant with RSV pneumonia that led to the unexpected discovery of a co-occurring HIV infection. We discuss clinical staging, opportunistic infections, and management protocols in high-burden regions.
