UIC-X Car: 1,808 cars were procured from 1963 onwards; formerly B4üm-63. Successor to the B4ümg-54. It is a former A4üm-61, successor to the AB4ümg-54 (A4üm-54). 144 cars were built starting in 1963. Originally AB4ümg-63 Depending on the bogie, the cars could run at 140 km/h (MD 33) or 160 km/h (MD 34). 11 compartments, 30 seats in 1st class; 36 + 10 emergency seats in 2nd class. Converted in the 1980s to BRbumz, among other things.
