Modellbahn zu laut? Das ist der Fehler bei deiner Gleisdämmung!

Is your model railway too loud? In this video, I'll show you how to properly dampen your tracks and avoid sound bridges. We'll talk about cork, rubber granules, flexible adhesives, and the correct way to fasten tracks – so your layout doesn't sound like a resonating chamber. Many model railway layouts unintentionally act like a guitar: The tracks transmit vibrations directly to the baseboard. The result is a loud clanging instead of a pleasant rattle. This is exactly where we come in. ________________________________________ Topics in the video ✅ Why sound insulation is so important for model railways ✅ How sound transmission occurs between the track and the baseboard ✅ Why flexible adhesives are crucial ✅ Cork or rubber granules – which makes sense? ✅ Gluing, nailing, or screwing – advantages and disadvantages ✅ How operational reliability and sound insulation are affected ✅ What you should consider with ballasted tracks 👉 New to the channel?
