To finish, simply rinse off any remaining residue from the tire. If the white lettering is heavily soiled, using diluted neutral detergent may be effective. It also cleans away years of blue protective coating residue. Of course, it can also be used to remove the blue protective coating from new tires, but first, use it as a finishing touch after washing off the protective coating with water using a scrubbing brush or similar tool. Keeping them clean from the start when they are new will help maintain their whiteness for longer. One bottle of white letter cleaner can clean 20-30 white letters. ■Precautions If wax or other coatings are applied to the tires, wipe them off with a cloth before using the white letter cleaner. Using it without water will clog the cleaner and significantly reduce its durability. Then, in January 2021, we uploaded a video to YouTube showing the cross-section of a tire, and in September 2021, we released a video demonstrating a cleaning method using liquid cleaner. We also uploaded several other videos related to white lettering, demonstrating our continued interest in this topic. We noticed that using commercially available liquid cleaners sometimes resulted in discoloration resembling a white ribbon on the tire, raising concerns about its potential harm. We contacted tire manufacturers regarding the occasional brown liquid discharge when using liquid cleaners, and learned that this indicates the leaching of tire anti-aging agents, a very bad sign for the tire. Generally, dirt is dark in color, so "a lot of brown dirt came out" isn't dirt but rather an anti-aging agent, which is actually very bad for tires, especially white-letter tires. According to tire manufacturers' instructions, white-letter maintenance should uniformly use sponges or steel wool, and harmful substances should not be used. However, in my personal experience, using sponges or steel wool did not yield satisfactory results. Based on these experiences, I decided to seriously investigate white-letter maintenance methods. ■Inspiration from Frustration I researched the pH values ​​and ingredients of commercially available household detergents and tire cleaners, and conducted tests while changing the recipes, but after several months I couldn't get the desired results and was starting to feel a bit discouraged. Then, I happened to find information about the manufacturing method of white-letter tires, which gave me a hint, and I discovered a completely different approach to cleaning white-letter tires. After that, I obtained various materials and conducted repeated tests, and continued searching for potential product ideas at home improvement stores. As a result, I found that white-letter tires could be truly cleaned under specific conditions.
