Beitbridge gears up for large-scale repatriation process
The Beitbridge border post is preparing for a large-scale repatriation process involving undocumented migrants. Authorities at the country's busiest land border have added personnel, processing capacity and security measures in anticipation of thousands of migrants expected to cross between Monday and Tuesday. This includes several buses carrying Malawian nationals who left Durban on Sunday after seeking assistance to return home due to fears and pressure from anti-illegal immigrant campaigns. Scara Mafokoane reports from Beitbridge. Follow us on our new Facebook page: https://tinyurl.com/2p9m6y52 #Newzroom405 Tune into Newzroom Afrika DStv channel 405 for more.
