In this video, you will see the complete Military Parade of the Belgian National Day 2026 in the heart of Brussels. The Belgian Defence presents its modern vehicles, military personnel and current operational capabilities. Along the Place des Palais, units from the Land Component, Air Component, Naval Component, Medical Component and the Special Operations Regiment take part in this impressive parade. Featured vehicles include the new VBMR Griffon 6×6 armoured vehicles, EBRC Jaguar reconnaissance and combat vehicles, Dingo 2 armoured vehicles, Iveco LMV (Lince), Pandur I, military ambulances, mobile command vehicles, engineering vehicles, logistics vehicles, Military Police vehicles, DOVO (Explosive Ordnance Disposal Service), Defence Fire Service vehicles and various vehicles from the Special Operations Regiment. The parade also highlights the latest developments of Belgium’s CaMo modernisation programme, equipping the Belgian Army with a new generation of armoured vehicles. The spectacular military flypast over Brussels is also featured. Aircraft include 2× Lockheed Martin F-35A Lightning II, 6× F-16 Fighting Falcon, an Airbus A400M Atlas, Airbus A330 MRTT, Dassault Falcon 7X, Embraer ERJ-135, NH90 TTH, NH90 NFH, Agusta A109BA, Airbus H145M and the MQ-9B SkyGuardian drone. The participation of the Belgian F-35s marks a historic moment and represents the transition towards a new generation of fighter aircraft within the Belgian Air Component. Besides the military vehicles, this video also shows impressive motorcycle escorts by the Military Police, Federal Police and Local Police. These specially trained riders safely escort military convoys through Brussels and also support special missions involving King Philippe, members of the Royal Family, foreign heads of state and other dignitaries. These images were recorded on 21 July 2026 during the Belgian National Day celebrations in Brussels.
