FUNÇÃO DO 1º GRAU OU FUNÇÃO AFIM

Hello! I'm Professor Cláudio, and this is your channel, Mathematics without Stress. In this video, we'll be working with linear functions, also known as affine functions. A linear function is any real function of the form f(x) = ax + b or y = ax + b, where a and b are real numbers and a is not equal to zero. The graph of a linear function is a straight line, which will be increasing when a is positive and decreasing when a is negative. The root or zero of the function is found when we set y = 0, which means ax + b = 0. The root can also be found using the expression -b/a. Lesson on the Pythagorean Theorem.
