Hello! I'm Professor Cláudio, and this is your "Math Without Stress" channel. In this video, we'll be working with Cost, Revenue, and Profit Functions. The Cost Function is related to the expenses incurred by a company, industry, or store in the production or acquisition of a product. The cost can have two parts: one variable and one fixed. We represent the cost function using the following expression: The Revenue Function is linked to a company's gross revenue, depending on the number of sales of a particular product. The Profit Function is the difference between the Revenue Function and the Cost Function. If the result is positive, there was a profit; if negative, there was a loss.
