Jest gotowy, by znów kogoś pokochać

In Wrocław, I met Marcin – a man struggling with homelessness who currently sleeps in a garden shed. He doesn't drink, doesn't argue, or ask for help. He's simply trying to survive – with dignity. He comes from a family with strong values, and he himself has strived to be a responsible partner and person. Unfortunately, two relationships didn't survive the test of time – neither the separation nor the differences in worldviews. Marcin worked in Scandinavia for years, believing he could provide a better life for himself and his loved ones. He ended up alone and homeless. When we met, he was clearly depressed. But an hour's conversation was enough to bring a spark back into his eyes. Today, he's packing his backpack again. He's returning abroad – not to escape, but to rebuild his finances and try to build a home again. Maybe this time, one where someone will stay with him through thick and thin. This isn't a story about decline. This is a story about hope that never fades – even when you're sleeping rough.
