Motorista de van é resgatado em posto de combustíveis após sequestro em São Paulo

A van driver was rescued by the Military Police after being kidnapped by criminals in São Paulo. The incident occurred when the victim was returning from work and was attacked by two assailants on the Marginal Tietê highway, who forced him into an SUV. A third accomplice took control of the van. During a patrol, police officers noticed the suspicious behavior of a car and approached it at a gas station in Guarulhos (SP). The criminals confessed to the robbery and kidnapping. The victim was in the back seat and was rescued. The suspects were identified as Vinícius Salles Rodrigues, who has a history of robbery and receiving stolen goods, and Douglas Silva de Souza, with a police record for domestic violence. Both were arrested at the scene. The victim's van has not yet been found. Police believe it was intended to be sold for dismantling.
