Week 4 of our journey to Dawes Glacier through Endicott Arm onboard Celebrity Edge brought a completely different kind of beauty. The day began with overcast skies, giving the fjord a dramatic and moody feel as we sailed through Alaska’s icy waters. But as we approached the glacier, the sun broke through and transformed the whole scene — lighting up the ice, the water and the glacier in the most incredible way. This week, the water was especially icy, making the approach to Dawes Glacier feel even more powerful and unforgettable.
