1947 Ford COE First Road Test... Did It Survive? 🤣
She finally hits the road for her FIRST real road test! In this video, I take my 1947 Ford COE out for some test passes to see how the chassis, steering, suspension, drivetrain, and cooling system perform in the real world. The small block Chevy 305 pulls strong, the truck tracks straight down the road, and the power steering feels amazing. Not everything is perfect yet! The brakes still need some work, and the 700R4 transmission TV cable needs adjustment, but overall this was a very successful first road test. We put the old girl through some hard pulls, reached speeds around 40-45 MPH, and tested the suspension over a large dip in the road to check for bump steer. The results were better than expected, and the truck handled it without any surprises. There is still a punch list to work through, but this test drive proved we're headed in the right direction. 🔥 Check out the Kali Kustomz merchandise: https://kalikustomz.com/ Thanks for watching and following along with the build. Go out and build something cool, one weekend at a time. #FordCOE #1947FordCOE #COETruck #ClassicTruck #HotRodTruck #PatinaTruck #KaliKustomz #ProjectTruck #RoadTest #TestDrive #SmallBlockChevy #700R4 #S10Swap #CustomTruck #VintageTruck #TruckBuild #GarageBuilt #HotRod #ClassicCars #AutomotiveFabrication
