Escape uit Bangkok – de lucht was niet te doen

Escape from Bangkok – the air was unbearable. Not even one day here and we already receive warnings: stay indoors. In this episode, our adventure in Bangkok starts very differently than expected. Instead of the vibrant city life we were looking forward to, we are confronted with heavy smog and alerts about dangerous air quality. The city is covered by a grey haze, and even breathing feels uncomfortable. This is not why we came here. We hesitate. Do we stay and hope it gets better? Or do we listen to our instincts? In the end, we decide it doesn’t feel right. We make an escape from Bangkok and leave the traffic, chaos and polluted air behind. Our journey continues south. First by plane to Ranong — and from there even further, away from anything that feels like a city. In search of fresh air, peace and a real island feeling. This episode is not about sightseeing or ticking off highlights. It’s about making decisions while traveling. Letting go of plans, listening to your body and accepting that travel sometimes means adjusting course.
