📖 WORD OF FAITH “For I long to see you, that I may impart to you some spiritual gift to strengthen you, that is, to be encouraged together by the mutual faith, both yours and mine” (Rom. 1:11-12). In this sermon, brother Yuriy Momotiuk reminds us of the great value of the Word of God, which the Lord sends for our edification, strengthening, and salvation. When we come to worship, we must first of all need the Word from the Lord, because it is through His Word that God addresses the human heart, reveals His will, strengthens faith, and gives victory. The Apostle Paul longed to be among the saints in order to serve them with a spiritual gift and to be encouraged together by the common faith. That is why it is so important not to leave our gathering, but to be where the living preaching of the Gospel sounds and the Holy Spirit works. The sermon mentions the example of the Syrian military leader Naaman, to whom the word of faith came through a little captive girl. This word led him to the prophet, and through obedience to God's word, he received healing and recognized that there is no God in all the earth, except the God of Israel. One word from the Lord changed his life forever. Brother Yuri also shares his personal testimony about how the word of faith supported and strengthened him during his service in the army. The Lord still sends His Word today for those who are ready to listen, believe, and obey Him.
