The band was founded in the USA by George Davydiuk, the son of Ukrainian immigrants, when he was only 16 years old, and the band's first music album, entitled "Heavenly Country I'm Running to You," was recorded at that time. The band currently has over 20 albums recorded. Since its founding, the band "Davydiuky" has visited Ukraine over 100 times on evangelistic and charity trips. The band's leader, George Davydiuk, even says that he considers himself more Ukrainian than American. On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of the band "Davydiuky," 3 festive events will be held - in Rivne, Lviv, and Lutsk.
