Wanted was one of the comic book movies that really launched the modern era of them, despite the movie being virtually nothing like the source material it was adapting. But with a star studded cast of actors like Angelina Jolie, James McAvoy, Morgan Freeman, and an early Chris Pratt, Mark Millar's ability to write comics that Hollywood can completely change and still find success, and lots and lots of over the top aciton, the movie found an audience still hoping for a sequel to this day.
