It seems like every day on the sailboat provides us with a new opportunity to learn more about boat life, mechanics, sailing, living in close quarters, the weather, or each other. This summer it feels like the flood gates have opened and we are learning at a faster rate than we could have ever imagined. While every day is different, we felt like this video was a great representation of a normal day for us as beginner boat lifers :) While we did a ton of prep for docking, we used our best judgement to wait for the perfect chance to practice. That is one thing that we've learned a lot this past year - you can't rush learning. Not forcing things and allowing them to go at the speed that feels comfortable and natural to everyone on board has been our motto and I'm really proud of us for learning to let go of our arbitrary self-imposed schedule.
