Meet a Mentor Mother helping young mothers living with HIV in Uganda
Loy is a Mentor Mother for Community Health Alliance Uganda (CHAU). Through its small business initiative, CHAU has provided Loy and many other young women living with or affected by HIV with the economic empowerment and safety they need to thrive. As a Mentor Mother, Loy provides peer-to-peer support and friendship to other young mothers living with HIV, inspiring and empowering them to achieve economic independence and take control of their health and wellbeing.
