Building an ICF ADU - Installing MEP's

We’re continuing the new build series. In this episode, we cover mechanical, electrical, and plumbing installation in this ICF ADU and show how each trade works within an ICF build. I walk through how ICF impacts each trade, from running plumbing and electrical to mechanical system planning, and explain how these installations compare to a traditionally framed home. One of the biggest misconceptions about ICF construction is that MEP installation is difficult or overly complicated. In reality, with proper planning, the process is straightforward and often simpler than people expect. This video breaks down how each trade approaches an ICF build and shows what the installation process actually looks like in the real world. I’ll be documenting the entire process from dirt work through completion so you can see what it really takes to build a house from the ground up. If you're interested in ICF construction, ADU builds, or real-world residential construction, follow along with the series.
