Fishing with Carl, MY Ginger Fisherman!

The "Big Visitor" reveal is finally here! 🎣 ​If you saw my teaser on socials, you know I’ve been hyping up a big visitor on the North Pier at Maryport. Well, the wait is over! We headed out ready for a "shark" encounter, though I have to admit, we turned up to the pier with big dreams and exactly one metal trace between us... talk about being prepared! ​Today’s title is a cheeky tribute to some YouTube legends—Fishing with Carl my ginger fisherman. We’re playing on the names of both Fishing with Carl and The Ginger Fisherman, but we’ve got our very own ginger legend, my cousin Carl, showing us how it's done. ​While the "sharks" (Lesser Spotted Dogfish) were the target, the Whiting and Rockling had other ideas. We eventually got the two-hook flapper rigs working hard to make sure we were seeing plenty of action.
