West Coast Mountain Guides Point 5 Gully, Ben Nevis
Alan Kimber, IFMGA Guide and founder of West Coast Mountain Guides guides us through an ascent of the most famous grade V ice climb in the world, Point 5 Gully on Ben Nevis. The route takes a direct line up a deep gully system, with the first three pitches generally being regarding as the hardest. The climbing then eases off, but full concentration is required right until the end, where the route tops out on right by the summit of Ben Nevis. We guide Point 5 Gully on our Advanced Winter Climbing Courses, CIC Winter Climbing Hut Weeks and when Private Guiding.
