After almost three years living in New York, there's something that has really caught my attention: the American mindset. Over time, I've been able to observe how people interact at events, how they talk about work, how they think about money, failure, and personal projects. And while obviously not everything is perfect, there are several aspects of this mindset that I find very interesting and that I try to apply to my own life. In this episode, I'll share five things about the American mindset that I've really taken away from living here: Being much more direct in conversations Thinking big and having ambition Executing ideas without waiting for everything to be perfect Learning to market yourself and communicate what you do Seeing failures as learning experiences These are very simple ideas, but they can significantly change the way we view work, projects, and opportunities.
