The Omine Mountains are one of the 100 famous mountains in Japan, but they are a little complicated. Generally, Mt. Omine refers to Mt. Yamagamigatake. However, Mt. Omine is still closed to women for religious reasons. Currently, Mt. Omine's 100 famous mountains in Japan are Mt. Hakkyo, the highest peak in the Omine Mountains. The road to Mt. Hakkyo is long, and you can climb from the Misen trailhead, which is the only one you can climb on a day trip. We climbed Mt. Omine, but not Mt. Hakkyo, one of the 100 famous mountains. I finally decided to climb Mt. Hakkyo this time. First, aim for the ridge to join the Omine Okugudo, which connects Yoshino and Kumano. It is a beautiful forest of virgin forest where you can feel the history. However, since it is a mountain of Shugendo, there is no gentle resting point. Although this is one of the 100 famous mountains in Japan, I feel that it is a tough mountain that is not open to the general public. Finally, I will go out to the ridge and join Omine Okugudo. It is written that it takes 2 hours from here to Mt. Misen. After all it is a considerable distance. There is a Misen hut on Mt. Misen, and you can think of staying in case of emergency. As a result, you can climb Mt. Hakkyo on a day trip, but I thought it would be nice to stay overnight at a leisurely mountain hut. The Okumiya of Tenkawa Benzaitensha is located on Mt. Misen. This Misen is an important place on the Omine Okugudo. From Kumano to Misen is the fetal world. From Misen to Yoshino is the Kongokai. It is the gateway to two worlds. When I arrived at Misen, I was tired. However, the highest peak, Mt. Hakkyo, is still ahead. I will climb with a spirit. We descended from Mt. Misen and climbed back from there to reach the summit of Mt. Hakkyo. Finally we also set up on the highest peak in Kinki. I am very happy. However, we also have to think about descending mountains. It is around 12:00 noon at the summit of Mt. Hakkyo. The break is also starting to go down the mountain. During the descent, I was overtaken by climbers one after another, and no one was there anymore. The sun starts to tilt and I become anxious. However, if you force yourself to walk, you will be injured, so be careful when descending the mountain. I finally arrived at the trailhead while becoming sick. It was really nice to be able to climb Mt. Hakkyo. The mountains in Nara may seem sober, but I don't think there is any other atmosphere. After all it is one of the 100 famous mountains in Japan. It was Mt. Hakkyo that I climbed with all my strength.
