Riding Into Afghanistan || Taliban border crossing - Episode 10

This is the tenth instalment of our overland motorcycle adventure from Perth, Australia to London, England. In this episode we finally leave Islamabad behind and start the process of entering Afghanistan. In Peshawar we find a different side of Pakistan and have our first encounter with the T^lib^n. We continue to be overwhelmed by the generosity of the Pakistani people, and say goodbye to a country we have come to love - despite all the troubles we had here. We tackle a difficult border crossing and knock down our first kilometres in Afghanistan, a country we are both anxious and excited to finally experience for ourselves! We are Tom and Lucy. We quit our jobs, sold anything of value, gave the rest to charity and left our lives in Australia permanently so we could ride across the planet.
