Meanwhile, in 2023, Japan's first technical college dedicated to "nurturing entrepreneurs" opened in Kamiyama, a mountain town in Tokushima. It's called "Kamiyama Marugoto Technical College." The school's concept is "Making things happen with the power to create things." It's a private, boarding-based technical college where education is essentially free. Ambitious 15-year-old students from all over Japan have gathered here, having overcome the strict entrance exam competition rate of approximately 10:1. Will entrepreneurs emerge from among them?
